Thank you to all friends of the PAINTING STUDIO. Please take the time to visit my friends.
Some years ago I wrote that Space is only as deep as one makes it.
My screen name was Defiant Sanctuary. Come to think of it the screen name is rather poetic.
Implying a quiet place where one is free and alone to explore, discover and perhaps touch and inspire.
You that read these words have touched me for I am only Stephen Craig Rowe. Gave way to the screen name and the face you see is mine. The words are mine. The paintings are real. The poetry is of my own hand on the keypad. God bless you all!
Wild Strawberry Moon
Is full, half shouded by the clouds.
That whisp in the winds
Far from fire storms
Raging
Floods,
Peril,
Draught,
Those that wage wars
For wages
are oblivious.
To the needs of the people,
the Earth cry silent in the night
The moon shine in silence.
Liberty woke from a deep sleep and half in a dream spoke to the Dragon.
Tugging at Dragons ear. Wings aflutter, for the state of affairs are not quite right!
Liberty was in a dream state, half here and half not She had one hand in the sky and one hand in the Ocean. Her heart was in the universe. Her spirit was is in All. Then she felt the fear of falling as a chill wind graced the summer night and the clouds cleared to show the Moon. Dragon stirred and woke then flew to the hands of Liberty. For there was no fear of falling. For Liberty and Dragon dance forever in the reflection of glass beads and tears.
Near the swamps, and in the places near quiet waters the wild strawberries bloom and come to sugar.
Liberty whispered into the Dragons ear,
" Thank you for the fear of falling."
Crickets, birds, night wings sing, poets speak words best by light. Or is it near the light.
It is of the light. It is of the Light!
Liberty snuggled up with the Dragon and each is all and everyone for the All.
As ever be well, With love, Stephen Craig Rowe
