Windows Live Spaces PAINTING STUDIO And The Beta Dork
March of 2,004 I purchased my first computer. A Dell Dimension 2400 that came with six months of free AOL. I did not have a clue and my only experience with a keypad had been my 1918 Underwood typewriter.
Though some would say that I still do not have a clue, I was like a kid in a candy store or a bull in a china shop when I first came on line and began exploring the internet. After the six month free AOL expired, I was able to milk that for another few months before getting the boot from AOL. Thank God! I then dabbled a bit with Yahoo and in February of 2,005 signed into MSN.
I put up the Painting Studio as a platform to showcase my paintings. There were comments about my work!
Yikes! What is this? I thought hmm.....This little computer is a powerful tool. So I beta tested this and that, Yahoo beta, AOL beta, MSN beta tested Live One Care, and whatever.
The Beta Dork in me was cut loose. Freedom! Spread the word. Open accounts everywhere! Google blogger, MySpace, Facebook, Facebox, Vox, HiFive, Ringo, Tagged, StumbleUpon, Dada.net, Tagged, Flixter, RFN, Dollar Space, Orkut, and God only knows! Where I have been.
I seldom visit the satellite accounts and have made MSN Painting Studio my home blog.
I have met so many good, creative, caring and very real people from all over the world. It is astounding.
It is also an awesome responsibility and powerful tool to improve the betterment.
Thank you! For visiting the Painting Studio and for your comments, friendship,
And
As ever be well! With love, Stephen Craig Rowe
